Pack old Shack / Radio room and Move to new site - DONE
Design & deploy shack layout - DONE
Setup IT / Network infrastructure / Bring Domain Controler online - DONE
Install OS and streaming software for W0UPS stream server - DONE
Install OS and streaming software for Colorado Highway Patrol APCO 25 stream server - DONE
Configure remote admin access on new streaming servers at server and routing level - DONE
Onboard the new streaming servers to the domain & config streaming software for W0UPS stream server - DONE
Reset / configure / Bring Wifi bridge & switch online - DONE
Bring LAN multifunction printer online - DONE
Bring on Vonage VOIP lines online - DONE
Setup and test Phones on Vonage VOIP lines - DONE
Setup the "honey pots" - DONE
Bring MAC catcher online - DONE
Deploy power source for all Radios and corresponding wires - DONE
Program Uniden BCD996T to capture Colorado Highway Patrol.
Deploy / connect all Transceivers and Receivers - DONE
Deploy / connect all antennas for Receivers - DONE
Bring Longmont / Boulder, city of / Boulded County & SO Scanner online - stereo signal stream - DONE
Bring Colorado Highway Patrol stream online - Mono signal stream.
Bring W0UPS UHF / VHF repeaters on stereo signal stream - PENDING - VHF is not recievable at this time - looking for a solution. UHF is up now.
Test and set levels on stream(s) audio - PENDING
Expected change behavior:
Inability to hear various agency dispatches for intermittent periods of time. Some agencies will seem audible at one time and completely dead at others if not full out for short period while testing and reseting network devices in the LAN
Full outage during the site relocation 5 miles away. The full outage will last through the end of October .
UPDATE - 10/09/2009: I am having trouble finding time to set up the servers that will be dedicated to handling the streams for the new content which will include the CHP (Colorado Highway Patrol) and the main NCARC VHF / UHF repeaters. Programming of the Uniden BCD996T is also delayed. Once these action items have been completed I will be able to deploy the rest of the planned changes. I've extended the change period to the end of October.
UPDATE - 10/29/2009: Still waiting on programming the UNIDEN BCD996T but the server is ready to go. The W0UPS UHF repeater is up now however I've encountered a reception issue with the VHF repeater that is hampering things a bit...looking for a solution.
